The programme assesses the safety performance of commonly used fleet vehicles operating as taxis or through e-hailing platforms such as Grab, ensuring that passengers can make informed choices about the vehicles they travel in.

How ASEAN NCAP works with operators and regulators
Fleet Safety

ASEAN NCAP works with ride-hailing operators and regulators across Southeast Asia to improve the safety standards of vehicles used for public transportation. The rated models are assessed under the standard ASEAN NCAP test protocols.
